Is that really an advantage though? Emotions in football is never a good thing.

  3. Derby matches tend nearly always to be more about passion/emotion than cold, clinical football, though, DL. Anything that helps to ramp-up the passion-factor is more likely to be a good thing than bad, in such a match.

I see it like the throw of a dice, HIAG. Could go either way.

When we played Inter a few years back all the talk was how:

    A) Our players would come out all guns blazing to show Mourinho how good they are
    B) Mourinho would want to get one over us

Very much similar to when we played West Ham a few years back under Avram Grant.

Is that the first time that anyone's compared a game against Inter to one against West Ham?

Maicon's displays against Bale certainly drew comparisons with Gary Breen...

Darren Bent to Liverpool or QPR according to the gossip. For me it's a no brainer,it has to be Hoops. I've always thought that he isn't quite good enough for the top flight and he certainly won't fit in with the Scousers. He wasn't so good for us,crap for Sunderland and for Villa and should return to the lower reaches where I think QPR will be again very soon. He shouldn't have left Charlton or if so to Millwall or Palace.

Taarabt, Zamora, now Bent? QPR will be filled with players bitter at not being good enough for us!

  10. I thought Bent did okay for Sunderland. If it wasn't for his greed and stupidity, he would have stayed there and done very well for them and for himself. He will, no doubt, consider his move to Villa to have been something of a numpty move.

And Arry soon Croydon unless he goes to England which is what I'd prefer.

Bent at Sunderland missed sitters as he did for us so no HIAG I don't agree.

Bent being a clinical finisher is one of the biggest myths in English Football

He converts 1 in every 4 clear cut chances he has and misses sitters regularly as Mighty Thor said.

    Bent's a goalscorer, but he's a temperamental, lazy ****er.
The only time that I ever saw him putting in a bit of work was a run when he had Robbie Keane constantly moaning at him and telling him to close defenders down.
I swear he only scores half of his goals because the opposition forget that he's playing.

Nice one PNP. I see Andy Carroll going the same way, wandering aimlessly from club to club getting nowhere.

1 in 4 isn't that bad tbh. Suarez is 1 in 10 or something high like that (although he isn't hailed as being clinical). Any one know RVPs stats since being at United or even Rooneys?

Has anyone seen a proper price breakdown for our season tickets, as I keep seeing this £1,845 figure for our most expensive one, but I'm sure our West Upper ones don't cost that much.
Our most expensive match-day ticket is £81, so 19 of them would set you back £1,539. I don't see where the difference comes from.

Can't answer your question directly PNP, but remember STHs usually get 21 not 19 games.

A lot of this price contrast is flawed anyway, West Ham, for example, regularly last season, and other seasons, have sold tickets at £1 and £10 to adults, and offered other cut price deals. I think you can see the Stoke game for £20 soon there.

Shockingly, you can't get a pie at Arsenal Ladies matches. UEFA need to be notified so the club can be punished severely...
