Hahaha, enjoy the Europa league you ****s If they finish 3rd in the group do they go into the JPT draw?
Just had a look at Everton's squad tonight and they omitted Lookman, again. Might be worth a punt in January, if that continues. We were interested before he went there and he's impressed me whenever I've seen him.
Without Bolasie and Coleman, he's the only player they've got who has any real pace. Deciding to drop him in such circumstances is a bit odd. Following on from LVG and de Boer, it's been a bad time for Dutch managers in the PL. Koeman's Everton revolution is looking very under the weather at the moment.
I'd just like to add a word or two of realism. Our wins have come against a ten man Newcastle, an understrength Everton and an understrength Dortmund. We lost to a full strength Chelsea so I'm sorry but I still think we have to prove ourselves yet against other full strength teams.
As experienced by us through spending the Bale money and Liverpool with Suarez, buying half a new team through selling your best player doesn't tend to work very well when that player scores most of your goals. Losing the player that gets you points is a disaster. On top of losing Luaku, Koeman has driven Barkley out and they've lost the experience of Gareth Barry and other leading players - Jagielka and Baines are showing signs of ageing. To fail to bring in a striker apart from 2 youngsters from foreign leagues is just mad, as is buying in 3 slow no. 10's, especially when one is Rooney. A while back, on here, I estimated that Everton were 7-10 years behind us. This year looks like our 2008/9. Berbatov and Keane have left and Frazier 'Bloody' Campbell and GDS and KPB have turned out to be ****. Ramos gets sacked soon.........
Arsenal as a club have to take some responsibility for the events the other night, obviously less than Cologne and possibly the police. However, it's really not for the coach to make public pronouncements about this - he should leave that to the Board. #knowyourplace Arsene Wenger: Arsenal sanctions would be 'completely unfair' http://www.irishexaminer.com/breaki...app&utm_medium=share&utm_campaign=sharebutton
The English and the Germans.......oil and water. Me and the current Mrs B went on honeymoon to Kenya years ago. The guests were half young English couples and half older single Germans, mostly in their 50's and 60's, who, we were informed by the hotel manager, were sex tourists. There was no interaction between the two groups apart from to argue, mostly via the Germans complaining to the very sweet hotel manager. One evening about 20 of us Brits were playing volleyball in the pool. Two German women, burned the colour of mahogany and the texture of leather, got splashed and ridiculously angry. Next thing a very apologetic and harassed hotel manager appeared with these women, one of them still bending his ear at full volume. Very nicely, he tried to broker a peace. The one German woman wouldn't let it lie........she continued at full volume until even she had to pause for breath. Like a flash, Gary from Leeds says...................................................."They started it". I knew what was coming next but the hotel manager didn't. He near soiled himself laughing when Gary continued ".................They invaded Poland". I don't think that I've ever laughed more in my entire life.
Adrian Durham is literally cumming in his pants about how good Man City are. I think there should always be a disclaimer after every compliment about them on the billion pounds they have spent to put the team together. Put it in perspective.
Look at the opponent too. The title won't be won or lost at Watford. It remains to be seen whether their defence has improved; we'll know when it's properly tested. Without Kompany, they are still relying on Stones and Otamendi in the centre and that has been disastrous for them before. They started well last season and nobody could see anyone challenging them. They finished 15 points behind the champions.
I'm sure that the vast majority of fans in this country are not-so-secretly hoping that Palace get their first win of the season next weekend, just to see the collective nervous breakdown of every moron pundit who thinks spending more money than everyone else gives a team the divine right to be respected.
The previous two seasons, Citeh were running away with it from season start, and the usual suspects had their pants round their knees. Both times they then had a game against a PL opponent who floor-wiped them, and then reality bit. The opponent ?? Spurs.
Very true. After the 4-1, they beat the weaker teams , but got turned over by Liverpool at home and lost to Stoke and Arsenal before Xmas (2015/16)
