The open top bus to celebrate the point leaves the White Elephant Stadium at 13:00 tomorrow. Payet won't be allowed on just in case he only buys a one way ticket. Back in the board room afterwards, Karen the Clippie will arrange the catering where the two David's are expecting at least a spit-roast in celebration of the point.
Sorry for the Rangers fan's family who lost their son in a coach crash. Took me back to about 1952 when Spurs were playing at Huddersfield(?) and that coach crashed killing a young Spurs fan. They buried him in the cemetery along White Hart Lane and the gravestone incorporated a very Large football. The last time I visited the ball had gone.......
Spammers fans sang: "Stratford's a s***hole, I want to go home" and "We're treated like ****" as their team pull off a mighty home draw against 'Boro. There are reports of attacks on 'Boro supporters during and after the match with an elderly man being hit with a bottle and parents and their children being punched. All sponsored by Boris Johnson, London Council Tax payers and Newham Council. Maybe when the Spammers get relegated they can make up the revenue shortfall by staging dog fighting or bear baiting.
Spammers fans don't know where they are past Upton Park. That's Hackney not Stratford.I wonder if they can find their way home without radar?
Really not sure anyone pays attention to Liverpool's results/place until Feb/March, I know I don't. There are some clubs you worry about a gap opening early season like City, Arsenal and Chelsea, Liverpool just aren't one of them.
Just seen Payets goal and must confess to being somewhat underwhelmed, Journalistic and social media had suggested it was a fantastic goal. I just saw a wander past a few fairly static defenders and a miss hit shot. I realise that my hatred of all things spammer will mean that I am not entirely objective, but I was really expecting something akin to Maradona v England or Ricky Villa v City and it was miles away from both.
I generally don't even bother then, other than for the comedy/WUM value bounty they have been bringing to us since 2010.
They (Stoke) have some good players, but they've had a horrendous start to the season. United, especially at home, should have killed them off. Stoke are vulnerable from set-pieces and crosses, yet no-one really tried to exploit this well enough. I missed Stoke's goal, but I heard de Gea didn't really cover himself in glory when dealing with the initial shot. That's what happens when you rely on one goal to get you through the game and you get complacent. On a sidenote, Pogba will probably come good eventually, but he certainly isn't looking like the missing piece in the jigsaw that they've been searching for. Yet.
Yes, I did. I said to Diego midweek that their performance against the Ukranian team was mediocre and an on form team would beat them heavily. Their play is laboured and their coach is already making excuses for defeats. I'm expecting defeats to follow.
What like one of the cart horses has fallen at the first fence and the other will probably need to be put down before Christmas?
