Perhaps Moyes is making a noisy plea to his owners to buy someone worthwhile. It won't hurt!...or joining Newcastle in the lower league.

In hindsight leaving Everton was a mistake as I thought it would be. I blinked when I heard of his appointment to succeed Ferguson at Man Utd.

The Man Utd squad needed a serious overhaul, and it was only performing
under the sheer iron will of Fergie. Moyes could not achieve a similar feat,
and the players he did sign were not of sufficient quality/breadth to compensate
for that.

If he joined Man Utd with the squads of 2014-15 or 2015-16, IMHO he would
have lasted at least two seasons (qualifying for the CL etc) .

... and the and the complicity of refs.

We take it as somewhat of a joke, but actually what his teams got away with from the refs was criminal (not to mention SAF himself continually ignoring FA requirements).

Isn't that HIAG's profile pic? I thought I hadn't heard from him in a while! What have you done with him?? Bring him back - the scousers need him!

The avatar of Cornish Clive (you have to venture onto the PL board to get the full story) . :)

Just waded through a few pages of the wumming and counter-wumming on that thread. Ever since the shocking revelation that HIAG is Arsenal87, I sometimes wonder whether Pixie is just another one of his auxiliary accounts that he maintains in order to have prolonged arguments with himself.

Whatever the truth of HIAG, nobody can dispute he has a large devoted not606
fanbase waiting 24x7 for his every posted word so they can reply.

And that is without counting people like me who camp on his rigorous documentary
articles such as the Mouser Watch.

A87 is sadly missed! His penetrating insights into Gooner misfortunes were a joy to read. Not to mention that his epic meltdowns were hilarious too! <laugh>

Sadly, he was cruelly assassinated by Piskie and his fellow Goonie mods.

He s no more. R.I.P. A87 :(

I'm sure he'll re-emerge somehow

If he wasn't an Arsenal fan I'd feel sorry for him...if it's even true. The bit about Theo Walnut makes me suspicious. Surely they can't be paying that clown £140k a week?! No wonder they haven't got any money if every Joe Average at the club earns twice as much as our highest earners!

A quick check tells me that Jason Savage is the manager of the Gooner shop.

So, if it's a Wum, somebody's done their homework first!...

Picked the highest non-paywall link for the Google search: Theo Walcott contract.

Up to £140k p/w from a measly £100k p/w.
