Ibe walking off at the same pace as Valencia, so Collins should stay out of it.
He should also be booked for that, as he ran bloody miles to get involved.

I suspect that Howe will slaughter Arter for that sending off, behind closed doors.
Two extremely stupid yellows. Totally unnecessary.

Antonio nicks it. Never looked like scoring until Bournemouth went down to 10.
One idiot costs his team the game.

What poor defending. Howe will be annoyed with that.

It's just not a football stadium, even with all the taxpayers money spent to convert it. They'll be wishing they were back at Upton Park before too long

How did he miss that?! <laugh>

Just shows the difference that properly sticking to the rules can have, though.
Costa and Arter both get booked for being twats, then commit a blatant second offence.
One gets sent off and his team lose, the other doesn't and goes on to score the winner.

I think that Spam have definitely had the better treatment from the ref. Byron should have been booked twice as they were two separate incidents. I have a terrible feeling that Spam are going to this year's darling of the media. All the hype about 'their' new stadium etc. is nauseating.

Didn't realise Elphick left tbh. With Ritchie gone I just feel like they lack any options, all the players are too similar. Someone like Pitchard would've been useful to replace his set pieces as well as offer a different type of winger, or have him playing off the striker to feed the ball through. They definitely need a bit of quality in centre mid too, not surprised they're supposedly interested in Mason.

Stupidity from Arter cost them today. Not sure what Boruc was doing standing at his near post as the cross went in either. Not very impressed with West Ham's new signings, nor the style of play. Big Sam would've been lynched for that kind of performance.

Is it just me or is Arter a bit of a card-magnet? He always seems to have something of the Tarricos about him.

Lucky win for HMRC FC. There have been a surprising number of late winners already this season. Picking up on the theme established in France perhaps?

David Moyes demonstrated everything I don't like in a manager in his post match interview. Gloomy, negative, defeatist. It's only the second bloody game of the season and he's already telling their poor fans to batton down the hatches and prepare for another relegation scrap, all the while implying that he isn't fully satisfied with the level of quality amongst the new signings - even though he has previously worked with almost all of them!

Yedlin and Kaboul actually formed a decent link in that back line towards the end of last season - with them both gone and O'shea a long spent force, I can't see them staying up unless they spend big. But then again Moyes' idea of 'big' is probably Fellaini <laugh>

I don't mind Moyes. I think he is a decent and honourable man.

He is right, Sunderland are/will be deep in trouble. But, to come out so strongly in public at this stage of the season, sends out completely the wrong message to everyone associated with Sunderland. I do like
Ipeople who say it how it is, but on this occasion, his comments are unnecessary and far too negative.

In any league I've followed, its most notorious villain would be dealing with a series of suspensions for all the things he's done. In the PL a long suspension goes to someone who didn't quite do anything to him.

Football organizations are notoriously corrupt. A bias in favor of the refs' four may have cropped up this year, in a year the PL is more strongly motivated than ever to placate them. Coincidence? I hope so, but I'm not so optimistic.

I wouldn't be too quick to condemn Sunderland as they gave City a close game and lost to a local derby team.

That's the problem, it isn't us condemning them - it's their own manager after his second game in charge <laugh>

I know but O Spurcat has already said they are/will be in deep trouble and it's too early to say that CK.
