So pre-season matters when Chelsea lose? Okay then... Pre-season is meaningless you of all people should know that after 08/09
That's not what he said. Chelsea losing to Brighton though is a lot funnier than trying to take the piss after we draw against Liverpool though But if you want something to laugh at, I stuck a tenner on us to win the league after watching us demolish Roma
bumped into Fat Frank in Brighton on Saturday, doing what he does best,Eating in an Italian Resturant in the Lanes.Southampton getting a big test on Thursday night when they travel to GGL to Play Sutton United
Was that Donatellos Restaurent? They sponsor Brighton, Fat Frank probably got a freebie. Great Pizzas.
Chelsea close to Victor Moses signing after high-level talks http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19181196 Strange move, for both club and player as why would Moses give up first team football and development as a player, just so he can earn more money and watch his career go down the drain, he should have learnt from SWP, who was a cracking young player at city until he made the wrong career choice.
yeah, would have gone myself but i'm working, going to Imber court on saturday to see Sutton play the Met Police in their final friendly
They don't have many out-and-out strikers, but he's not one, either. Torres, Sturridge and Lukaku, who's rumoured to be going out on loan. Guess he's a replacement for Kalou, but it's a bit odd that they haven't brought in anyone to compensate for Drogba leaving.
they must want to give Torres his chance as the main man but if he gets injured then they are going to struggle for goals so i guess they could use moses as a winger and put strurridge upfront yet seems a strange signing.
Was about to post the same thing. They don't exactly have a good recent track record for nurturing young talent, certainly British talent. Another Scott Parker/Glenda Johnson signing (though to be fair to Chelsea Johnson is just ****e)? Also been a fair few reported rumblings of discontent from some of the young talent recently signed about lack of playing time. Another player throwing away a long career for a quick buck?
I heard from someone genuinely ITK about Chelsea that a number of their youth players had contractual arguments with the club last season. They were offered pretty good deals, but wanted something close to parity with established players, which lead to a number of them being loaned out and falling out with the management. Can't remember exactly who they were, but they were due to be involved in the first team squad. I think Bruma and van Aanholt were amongst those mentioned, if I remember right. Can't say that I blame the club in this instance. Trying to grab a big contract before you've proven yourself, when you're about to be presented with an opportunity to do just that, is a bit of a pisstake, in my opinion.
I heard that, too. Apparently, Whinger is stalling, because he doesn't want RvP to go to United. He won't stop him, of course. Come January, RvP can sign a pre-contract deal with United, and this time next year he'll join them for nothing. Sweet.
on 5 live this Morning it said that RVP move to United has stalled,SAF is'nt happy about the goons tactic's.
