They have some good players, they are just idle ****ers. If he can get them working hard, he has every chance. Villa are down, Norwich, Sunderland and Newcastle are very close, and a small improvement from any of them will see them stay up. My money is on Sunderland to survive, but Newcastle can do it.

I'm hoping the Newcastle players perform at their best against Leicester on Monday - they will want to impress themselves upon Rafa. Come on Newcastle, beat Leicester please!

I think Villa,Newcastle and Sunderland have the best fans in the world. It seems incredible that all three could go down together.I can remember when they were the giants of the game.I guess their players are not hungry anymore.....unlike the fans.

Ron Saunders would have had the Villa players running around until the ambulances came to pick their bodies up!!!!

No pissing on Plymouth, please: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35784742
    What a weird story.

Is it just me or does the ban seem totally unjustifiable?
The player asked people at the club where to go and he's got more time out than Connor Wickham did for injuring Vertonghen.
That doesn't seem very balanced, to me.

He only needs to get them a point more than Sunderland and make up a couple of goals on Norwich.
He's a very good manager and if he can't manage that, then they really are in a big mess.

They face both of the teams that they're basically up against in the next three fixtures.
Good results there and they could easily pull away a bit.

You can't argue with those facts.

Let's hope, for his sake, that the mind games don't get to him.

How you chaps feeling after last night? in all fairness that dortmund team looks the real deal and played very well so no shame in losing to them imho.

i know some of you were unhappy with the selection last night, i take it then that some of you felt you could fight on both fronts for top 4 and europa glory? in hindsight im sure most will agree your squad is a few players short of that just yet.

But thats 3 without a win now and you know how funny football can be sometimes so im wondering if a few of you are a bit nervous about the villa game?

Its highly unlikely of course but do any of you think if you somehow lose to villa there is a chance you could drop out of the top 4?

Bored are we? I've told you to get out and meet someone. Nice boyfriend or girlfriend would be good for you. Stop you from writing all this nonsense. Oh yes, you're on the wrong thread again. Try to remember next time! Mousers on the Mouser Thread, that's a good chap.

We're fine. Put Kane, Alli, Lamela, Dier, Walker and Dembele in your team and you might make CL, although I'd play Walker in goal above Mignolet to guarantee it.

I hope they can cope with the backlash they should get with the players who diddnt play coming back rested and considering the lesson given by dortmund last night id imagine you will be well up for it tbh.

of course should they get some kind of result it could really damage your moral for the remaining games, especially if other results go against you.

This kind of stuff is really sad. Why would you want to spend your life trying to wind up people who you have never met and who don't care at all what you think.

    Really sad.

    A wise man said:

“If you're lonely when you're alone, you're in bad company.”

You might want to reflect upon that for a while. Good luck.
