Well deserved for Newcastle, they bettered Liverpool man for man over the full 97 minutes. Wijnaldum and Sissoko were superb. Reality check for Scousers and the Klopp-loving pundits? Doubt it, Martin Tyler was still describing Klopp as a "charasmatic manager" when they were 1-0 down. The love-in continues but everyone else will be laughing at Liverpool tonight
It continues to be the most unpredictable PL year ever. Changes Klopp made from a 6-1 winner: 6 Shots on target by both teams combined: 2. Goals: 3. I have to say, playing poorly, getting robbed and leaving with a point shines by comparison to what most of the teams we’re competing with did.
This is the season that all football fans crave. When the media and the pundits who always back the status quo are left floundering as result after result shows them to be the charletons that they are. They know nothing! correction They know ****ing nothing.
I tried very hard not to laugh at The Mousers yesterday - honestly I did. Didn't work though, I pissed myself...
Just another quick mention for Chris Hughton and Brighton. Went 2-0 down after five minutes against Charlton on the weekend, but came back and won 3-2 with two goals in the last seven minutes. That takes them back to the top of the table and extends their unbeaten run to 20 league games from the opening day. It's a club record and a very impressive achievement in a tough league.
Pigclimber has been charged with violent conduct, following his elbow on Winston Reid on the weekend. He must be fuming, as Rooney does that all the time and never gets charged. Mark Clattenburg must've forgotten who pays his wages.
Literal translation is pig climber, though it's probably more like pig farmer or trader. Climber's much funnier, though.
Better second half. Palace should've had 2 penalties for me but Everton were the better side and came close on several occasions.
Steig is the German for stable. Words ending in -er tend to refer to a a person or thing from a place. So Schweinsteinger is someone who breeds/rears/tends pigs. I did A level German, you know - although I'm limited to asking what's for breakfast these days.
