And partly why they do the relentless state-sponsored unsettling. If Get real Madrid had to pay on terms akin to what Spurs did for Soldado (which was allegedly the case until Bale caved in with the no-show) , they could never afford him.
"Will they sell for €20M?" This really requires Levy to publicly make a cheeky punt for Bale at E20m. And say he is only offering what La Marca say he is worth.

No sympathy for Bale from me I'm afraid (although I don't agree with the attacking of his car). He left us on sour terms and he knew the sort of club he was going too, yes you're near enough guaranteed trophies and titles but have more than one or two bad games and you're instantly a villain to the fans - I'd hate to play for a club like that. It's going to be a test of his character now to see if he can pull through the storm and show everyone just what he's made of, there's no doubting that on top form, he's one of the top 5 players (possibly top 3) in the world.
