Prediction.....spuds to throw in towel early, as it not a derby game and therefore the players aren't really that interested and Saints to win 0-2.
As you haven't got Bale ( x-saints academy) you are pretty well toothless up front. Sorry but Spuds-you-like, will get mashed

Come on BloodyForeSkin, f** the Spuds, they're mugs and not worth talking about in the same breath as Spurs and Soton.

Though if you don't mind, keep ensuring Pelle maintains his goal scoring form, he'll look good in a Spurs shirt for next season. It's great knowing you guys are there for us when we need a bit of reinforcing. That Bale deal worked magnificently, you guys done us a huge favour of wiping out the sell on clause just to get an extra £5m at the time, jeez we'd have probably had to of paid you roughly £15m+ when we sold Gareth for that immense figure of £86m. It goes without saying, you Saints are most definitely our best buddies <ok>

Not only Pelle looking good in a Spurs shirt Next season but J Rod too, agree about Spuds nowhere near as good as Spurs, nearer Saints mark

I'd have taken J-Rod at the start of the season but the Chad-meister is doing the business now, finally looks like the true FC Twente player has arrived. J-Rod would be a great back up though, for both Chadli and up top for Pelle when we nab him.

Yes, Saints have been a superb feeder club for us, and I expect it to continue.

Hell! If Koeman works out, we might even give him two seasons at the helm, after Levy has sacked Poch.

We sure as hell won't sell to you anymore.

West Ham went through a period of selling us a bunch of good players on the cheap and then said something like that.
The problem was that we no longer wanted to buy anyone from them, as they had a crap team! <laugh>

We sure as hell won't sell to you anymore.

<rofl>

Yes, right.

Good luck with that.

See, ultimately, it's not up to the club whether or not a player leaves or which club he goes to - it's up to the player. You won't want the embarrassment of having a player go on strike to force through his dream move to Spurs, would you?

£31 mill apparently and he's 28.

Wellbeck admits that he's struggling after the Spurs match, that he's finding it difficult at Arsenal. Didn't we all say that this would happen? He should have come to us.

Today's journalistic double standard...
Two weeks ago, the Standard reacted with horror at the mere idea that we might play at Twickenham when building our new ground
When the notion of the Chavs playing there when renovating their stadium is raised, there isn't so much as a peep of protest

I know the area well. I cannot imagine that the residents will not kick up an almighty fuss!

Even Vince Cable is voicing serious doubts. I would guess that it's a long way from a done deal.

Can you imagine 20-30,000 Spurs fans trying to get to Twickenham. That would wear London Transport out....and us!

I'm not sure travelling to far flung parts of the world midweek is a very sensible idea.

If the games are more local, who is available to play?

It looks like a seven game series v AC Milan then <doh>

You have to understand that the CL next year is in the bag for Man U. Given that that's the case, making some pocket change by playing midweek makes a lot of sense. There's absolutely no danger that the extra games will end up costing Man U the CL through fatigue or injury. And even if it does, you'll already have alternative plans in place for next year. I'm sure all Man U fans can't wait to see their team travel six thousand miles to play the Beijing Red Dragons three days before they play City.

I've only ever been to Twickenham for gigs and I thought the travel wasn't too bad. About an hour to get there or back.
They also had these the last time that I went:
