Ecuador forward Enner Valencia, 24, says he was lured to West Ham by the prospect of a top-four finish. Was it opposites day when they signed him?
I can only assume he'll sue them for breach of contract come March, when it is mathematically impossible for that to happen.
OMG, that is so funny. That can't be true. Thats even funnier than the Leicester guy saying thats the goal.
Well, if he's that thick, he's probably better off staying there!... Just had a thought, did The Spammers specify top 4 of which division?..
Is there a division for clubs that play in claret and blue? Even if there was, Trabzonspor would probably win it every year...
The goons have agreed to sell Vermaelen for near to 15 million (to Barca) after Man Utd pulled out of the race as Wenger wanted Smalling! So not only are Barca signing an average defender, Van Gaal also wanted him and Wenger wanted Smalling, what are these managers seeing in these players?. Us mere fans clearly can't see the potential of Smalling as Ferguson signed him and Wenger wanted to sign him, while Van Gaal wanted to keep Smalling. Three of the greatest managers in recent times all rating a defender that we all slate!
Bruno Alves "might've left a foot in" on Diego Costa in Chelsea's friendly with Fenerbahce: Perhaps someone could explain to him what the word friendly means?
Either us or three of the leading managers in football don't know ****. It's them. It's got to be them. Smalling, if he's lucky, will be a decent PL defender but no more. Vermaelen had a huge impact at Arsenal. When Wenger sat him, Arsenal stopped having a terrible defense. Remember him buying Ade's dummy, playing Bale onside for Gylfi's pass? Meanwhile, I kept laughing at the Vertonghen to Barca rumors. I figured they might have wanted him last year, when he was fantastic for us, but couldn't possibly be interested in a player who looked very slow, dodgy defensively and sulky. But I guess since they bought his shabbier footballing brother, the rumors were true. Maybe Barca has some mysterious need for defenders whose last name begins with the letters V-E-R. It's not much of a theory, but it's all I got.
After Moyes last season, you wonder whether the Charity Shield will become to league football what the "rainbow jersey" often was for professional cyclists.
I'm jealous they won the FA CUP, but I am not jealous they won the friendly Charity Shield. That is all it is, a friendly.
Well done for including Clichy and Nasri who left the goons to win real trophies, they are probably sat in the changing room saying "that be nice for them to win a minor trophy while next season we compete for/win the top trophies".
Thats the predictable response but was expecting that from "Not Pc Enough". Winning the Fa Cup ended your trophy draught of 9 years. Our last trophy was in 2008 so hopefully we can end that draught at a quicker rate.
