What difference does the heat make?

If someone pukes on your shoes, it doesn't matter whether its Jaunary or August

Possibly farts are worse in a lift cos the hot air rises, keeping that lovely sulfur scent up around your bonce

It's stuck, which makes the experience that much more intense.
Actually, a fart in a broken lift in December might not be so unwelcome, as the heat produced might offset the niff. You can always hold your nose.

Are you suggesting (accepting it is a cold winters night) that one may warm oneself on another persons colonic gasses?

If one can retain the heat, the gas doesn't create the heat tho

Get into a thermal suit and fart and yeah it will keep you warm for a tad
