Diving has been going on since I was a kid, even the 70's Franny Lee, Denis Law god even Kenny Dalglish had a few fall downs it is just more TV and better angles show the culprits more.
The Italians were brilliant at it in the 70's and 80's but Spanish teams I feel have taken over.

John Aldridge was ****ing superb. John Barnes used to get called for it, but in reality it was just the only way defenders could stop him - and then they tried to con the ref he'd dived.

I don't get why the most talented players want to dive. Suarez was the same and don't forget Ronaldo and Drogba who wrote the rule book on it.

Suarez was denied many clear penalties because of the reputation opposing fans and the media gave him. Remember Webb at Arsenal and Chelsea last season? And Christ, remember Suarez at Norwich 18 months ago when a defender, five yards away from the ref, simply karate chopped him from behind in the neck when he was clean through on goal - and the ref waived play o as the defender appealed for a yellow for diving!

Yes, but he did dive as well.

Suarez was the worst diver the leagues ever had.

Funny how you guys are having a chuckle considering your last game and of course your history.

Give it a week and many of you will be defending one of your own. Not one United fan has done anything but slam Di maria and januzaj. They were embarrassing.

No mention of Welbecks or Sanchez dives though. Neither were booked and one got a free kick. Equally as embarrassing.

Robben is the worst diver the league has seen.

2 previous meetings at OT perhaps. They can run forever and we dont

2 in about 7000 games Dave. We lost our last few against liverpool before this season. What happened this time?

Who knows what will happen. Rooney is stating to score goals and our attacks are more fluid, faster and with reason.

We are also at home. Only one side in the league has a better home record than us.

Be positive Dave. Its still in our hands.

Oh yes they have. The likes of Fistian just want to talk about Liverpool instead. That's not 'slamming' them: it's deflecting to defend them.

1 ban for spitting
2 cards for diving
1 ban for referee assault
3 Welbeck death threats
1 police investigation for racism
0 silverware for Van Gaal

Behave Donga, there was only one man responsible for his reputation just as it is with Young and Januzaj <ok>
