  • Premier League

  • Champions League

  • FA Cup

  • League Cup

  • As much as Everton and Spurs!

Fixed. Nailed on Smalling penalty.

wellllllll.... there was two pen shouts in said game just like 99% of games that weekend and neither side got their shout. utd [HASHTAG]#luckedout[/HASHTAG] but forget that then tell us they threw the arsenal game way thus give no credit at all to arsenal who went to old trafford and didn't fall apart (for once)

non banter comment:

i feel lfc have their whole season in the balance right now and over next 5 games. i think we will need to look to ourselves not others for where we end up.

we can do amazing and achieve 3rd and fa cup win or we can finish 6th and be crying.

we should not be looking for favors or whining about refs and luck. LFC have clawed out current position back after a very poor first half of season but now..... thats in the past and next 5 games will define us for the year i feel.

Am I on my own in thinking that a replay of this tie would have suited us better than the Arsenal win? Welbeck though. ****ing delicious irony <laugh>

Man Utd getting a result would once again paper over the cracks. They would go into the important fixtures over the next few weeks thinking they are still on for silverware and can't be beaten.

Now they are exposed as cheats and their season is done.

I had an email this morning from the client that took me to our game at the ****house. He said there was plenty of applause for Welbeck, as well as the booing.

Yeah, seemed that way. There was always going to be booing for a Welbeck goal, but fair do's to the majority of mancs there
for respecting the guy. He's done nothing to be vilified for.

Tottenham set to appeal Di Maria's ban since they shouldn't be punished by not playing against him. The ban should apply to next season's FA Cup instead.

Don't really think so, for 6 months up until the 3rd round of the FA Cup they've had the big advantage of playing only once a week but it ain't done them much good.

They're currently fourth, a position they wouldn't be in had they not had a weeks rest each week. So yes, it as benefited them.

Moyes got the same number of league points last season while taking them to the last 8 of the CL and LC semi-final

Their position is nothing to do with them and just the bad starts to the season by other teams

What 2 points?

Last season when we had a similar advantage we used it to surge to the top 2 by many more points than utd have amassed in similar circumstances.

I was suggesting their true position would be a lot lower had they not been playing part-time football. Ie, they'd be about tenth <whistle>
