You may have seen the thread but did you see the game? we gifted the game to "the first decent side in weeks", first with di Maria wandering around and letting Monreal through on goal then with Valencia passing the ball to Welbeck with an open goal in front of him. It was something that happens once a season if you are dozy enough <ok>

Tbf Diego they gifted Rooney his goal, not a defender near him in their own area when the ball comes over, they had better chances than you and De Gea was your stand out player yet again, Noble is correct, your easyish lead up to this run of games has given you a false sense security.<whistle>

Not too bothered to be hnest Page, even when we were good i never expected to win every game so now a loss to a team like Arsenal is no big surprise, it`s just the manner of the loss that is galling.
Who would have thought Valencia would do that with is kicking foot, the one he uses for balance would have been understandable but not his one good foot <grr>

was it really as one sided as the shots stats are more even with arsenal edging the quntifiable shots and corners stats.

Its too early to say how good they will be and its likely they will be further additions soon but both are very capable players.

More than capable of going toe to toe with yaya, matic and the rest. With an outlet like di maria thrown in to i can see us approaching the bigger games somewhat differently this season.
