Superb result and another really brilliant defensive display overall. Some dodgy moments but we were in control of the game for most of it and never looked too troubled.

Credit to Allen & Henderson for being superb in midfield and to Lovren because I thought he was really solid as well. Mignolet's new found confidence and command of his area is also making us a lot better defensive as a team.

Tbf Mourinho's minutes yesterday were bang on. How whatshisname didn't even get a yellow for that leg-breaker on Matic is ridiculous. Referee was appalling, but the levels of reffing are currently the lowest I can remember. It's like they pull a fan out of the pie queue and stick the black kit on him. There you go son, you'll be alright.

But that was yesterday. His constant media presence is annoying. Seem to be hearing from him almost all the time. Maybe he just gets lonely.

Chelsea players in the past have got away with nasty stuff under Jose, he wasn't ****in moaning then was he.

How ridiculous that they have league games on the same day as the league cup final.

No wonder no one takes it seriously when league games are being played around it.

Not according to the rules

The media make the mistake of thinking "deliberate" just means "interpret it whatever way is against Liverpool"

How can you claim it wasn't deliberate? He went to catch the ball. Carragher and Henry claiming he chested it was embarrassing.

I'm not claiming it, PGMOL are <ok>

But I'm fairly sure his plan wasn't to catch the ball by first rebounding it off another part of his body <ok>

It bounced off his chest on to his hand mate, was never deliberate. Might want to watch the replay again!

Saw the replies whilst Carragher and Henry were talking about it, hits his hand directly.
