  • Premier League

  • Champions League

  • FA Cup

  • League Cup

  • As much as Everton and Spurs!

A Madrid picked up 8 yellows and 2 reds. <yikes>

No wonder Costa is the way he is <laugh>

Got to the point in the last 15-20 minutes where Atletico players were just fouling Barca players at every chance. Nothing overly serious, just little trips when they'd got away etc.

Atletico aren't an attractive team to watch though. They're a good team, Simeone got them tactically very good but they aren't brilliant offensively.. much like the Spanish Chelsea of last year. Dull but effective.

He's a good manager true. You have to be to win La Liga with someone other than Real or Barca in Spain

Is there such a thing as being too fired up?

Chelsea fans in meltdown on the comments section's of the popular footy sites, most of them taking their anger out on us because Costa got the ban.<laugh>

If it had been Robert Hoof instead of Costa he'd have got away with it.

Manchester United transfer news: Van Gaal admits De Gea could sign for Real Madrid

http://www.manchestereveningnews.co...s/manchester-united-transfer-news-van-8551273

The lure of a BIG club.<whistle>

Hate to burst the bubble Page, any player can sign for any club if the fee and wages are high enough.
The difference comes when a player just wants out of a club, anywhere will do. Remember Suarez, Was prepared to go to Arsenal but fell through (fee not big enough), then wanted to go to Madrid but they weren`t interested (not good enough) so ended up going to Barca, anywhere but Liverpool.
If De gea goes to Madrid i will be gutted, but at least it he will not have hawked himself around.

I see your point but if he goes to Real he and his agents will have "hawked" himself to them, Owen and McMannaman deliberately ran their contracts down with us so they could get their move to Real and LFC lost a lot of money in transfer fees.
Maybe De Gea's refusal so far to sign a new contract has prompted the club to sell him for what they feel his true value is and not have to let him go for a pittance.

Fair points, but i`m not sure he has been offered a contract to sign yet. Still has 18 months left on current contract <ok>

Suarez had two years to run on his before we got him to sign a new improved contract extension and ultimately that gave him his move to Barca and earned us a big return on our initial outlay on him.

Hull 0-1 Newcastle - Remy Cabella

Big goal for Everton; increases their relgation safety by keeping Hull down, almost rules out a top half finish by keeping Newcastle up

Chelsea v city has to be the least interesting title race in history. Two poorly supported clubs with no history at all representing the very best of the English game.

Sad stuff. At least last season was exciting amd entertaining despite both teams involved being horrible.

Sad to see yoonited joining them in trying to buy success, at one time they had a policy of giving youth a chance, but now they only use youth players because they have to due to the flawed genius purchasing injury prone crocks.<whistle>

Too true. I moss those days of having the most youngsters playing first team games. Way back in the 14/15 season when we had far far more than any other club playing first team games....

Weve got a good few 100million to go before we reach the billions spent by the two nothing clubs. Wece just over taken spurs and your lot. Just.
