I know Ronaldo deserves the accolades he gets and he celebrates them, but he just never has any class about it. His ego over comes him and it shows his worst traits at the biggest occasion.

Missing his pen v Cheslea in the Champions league final and when they still win instead of running towards VDS he falls to the floor and basically celebrates alone.
Wanting to be the fifth penalty taker for Portual at the Euros, so the headline can be about him scoring the decisive penalty but Portugal don't even get that far in the shootout and their best penalty taker looks an idiot.
After being below average in the Champions league final v Atletico, doesn't celebrate with Bale or Marcelo when they score but when he scores the 4th in a game which was done twenty minutes ago, takes his shirt off as if he scored the winner.

And now to receive the Ballon D'or he gives a awkward shout as if to show he's the best. For being one of the gates test in the world/ever he should show some class.

Must be more of a pain for you Diego, the "virus" Fergie sold to Real winning the big award, Di Maria getting a mention based on when he wasn't a yoonited player and Stephanie Roche's goal beating last placed Van Persie..

See Hodgson didn't vote for Ronaldo or Messi in his POTY. I know sometimes it's good to think outside the box and be different, but how could you not vote for Ronaldo for the amount of goals he's scored and trophies he won last year <doh>

Your understanding of the English language is poor, Fergie said he wouldn`t "sell that lot a virus" and he was true to his word, he sold them the cure <ok>

Of course di Maria got a mention, he is among the top players in the world :grin:

Not seen the results but i am assuming Sterling, Sturridge and Suarez all beat Steph though <laugh>

Claiming the glory of other clubs players shows just were yoonited are these days.

The Fifa goal award is a joke tbh, there's as good or better goals scored over the season in many league's across the world, the criteria for the category wasn't just international was it?, I think Roche's goal was from a league game.

No one can claim the glory of Ronaldo, he is a self made player. It wouldn`t have made one bit of difference which path he took, he would still have made it to the top. Apart from his talent he has so much drive and ambition to be the best, couple them all together and he was always going to reach his goal.

Not sure what the criteria is for "best goal" but i have seen many in the last 12 months that would trump any of those short listed. I think somebody posted a vid on here of a player in the Irish 2nd division that was unbelievable <ok>
 
You scousers are jealous because our Angel and our Ronaldo won awards, if it wasn't for corruption in fifa RVP would've have won the best goal award to make it a hat trick of wins for United at the ceremony.

Also there should have been a special award for the best keeper in the world, our very own David De Gea.
