Wisdom is quality and would be a massive asset to our defence. As much as I like what BR does. His decisions regarding some players baffles me.

Or he's getting exactly the kind of experience without pressure he needs to develop and BR has played it perfectly

He can play RB or Cb and our defence have been dross. He could be getting that experience for us. I think in general I agree though. I am glad he is getting game time and not being wasted like others like Suso, (before his injury.)

But he signed a lad a year younger, on loan, who's gone straight into the first team?

Dean showing he's an old school ref - West Brom foul = yellow, Man Utd then do the same thing = no yellow

Tobes is right, why loan him out to then sign a complete nobody with no experience to play in his place?
I know people will say there is Johnson and Flanagan who would ideally be 1st and 2nd choice, but then Rodgers is wrong again thinking Johnson is the best RB known to man.

Different players need different plans. Wisdom was getting sporadic game time and looked a little tactically immature with us. Out he goes and looks much more confident. Definitely better than being developed in the shambles that is our back four at the minute.

That younger lad is a definite FB whereas Wisdom isn't. Plus, having a player out on loan is different to having one on loan with us to fill a gap. We already have Johnson and Flanno

Clearly doesn't though. Hasn't gave him a new contract.

If Manquillo starts on Wednesday he's not first choice.....and that "nobody" has looked perfectly fine in the role, one of our better players so far. An improvement on Johnson's performances at the very least...

Don't invent faults with BR that don't exist when there's plenty of valid flaws to see already.

Don't get me wrong, I like Manquillo, but we signed him as a nobody. He was signed to be 3rd choice and has been playing as our 1st choice.

You honestly believe Johnson isn't Rodgers' preferred choice? He will start against Madrid, thats a certainty.

Tobes subscribes to the Hodgson management plan of treating every player exactly the same as there is no evidence individual plans have ever been beneficial

You may be right for the next few games but I point to no contract as an indicator that he isn't rated as highly as you think.

You and I and many others think he's dogshite but he's got the most experience out of the current two options and would still have if it was a choice between him and wisdom instead.

I'd personally go with Manquillo but I can understand the logic of not destroying the young lad against real. If like you believe and I fear we are going to get an almighty spanking eithier way on Wednesday who would you rather be humiliated the young lad or the fat waste of space with the even fatter ego?

And who's taken over felanis's body!!!!????
