Van Gaal is a coward too scared to say anything one way or another

First he said Man Utd are the best team in the league, then they lost and he said he was only repeating what the press said to him, then they won again and he implies they're in a title race, then he loses and he'd rather focus on pedantic points than have an honest conversation about Man Utd's true level. Or admit his season is based entirely on Moyes' signings.

Moyes is the only honest manager Man Utd have had, and the fans hated him for it [HASHTAG]#theunitedway[/HASHTAG]

It is true, Moyes' signings have been the best ones, without them United would be fighting with Everton.

Herrera, let hazard go for the goal, and did his rendition of swan lake, Dive Maria was pure **** too.

While we lost today there were some positives to take. Most importantly the team played well despite some big players missing. We controlled the game against the team top of the league and looked good.

Thats the result of LvG's training methods. No matter who plays, the team plays consistently. It took longer than hoped but its starting to show.

Obviously I wont get any sensible replies but still, its a positive...

You controlled the game without any penetration or putting any real pressure on a Chelsea side that set out to let you have the ball. They had no high press or press in midfield. Very early on you did ok but as the game wore on Chelsea more and more relegated you to possession in areas that were no danger to them.

You had players out, they had Drobga who is well past it, he's totally done at this level. Essentially they played with no striker. If Costa had been fit, it would have been very different/

Chelsea also played far more games, and that matters at this stage of the season, Hazard looked pretty tired by 70 mins too

If there was ever a time to get a win there it was today, but you could not get the service to the players that needed it and Young was a coward, didn't take on Ivanovic once.

Shaw was your most creative player, and that is saying a LOT.

This spell of a few games has you all far too optimistic, but if you manage to win your remaining games, there is cause for optimism

Sell Di Maria and get rid of failcao

Well, it`s good to see a decent team have have managed to scrape a win against United and make you all so happy. How do you think you will feel if Liverpool ever manage to get as good as Chelsea, will it feel like you are in heaven

This is not surprising, he has been carrying them since January.

The players we had out would have made a huge difference. A player like Herrera is very important to our ability to break through teams and his link up with Mata in recent weeks has been great (8 goals in the last 8 starts together I think was the stat), but today he played deeper, in Carrick position. That, coupled with Chelseas blatantly defensive set up made it difficult to break them down.

We still created a couple of good chances. If Rooney is up top and gets the chances Falcao had, I think we score a goal or two. Obviously you never know but with how we played, our starting 11 in recent games would have broke through with more success.

Barnes gets a yellow card for just sliding behind a player and making 0 contact what's so ever.

Mirrales geta a ta a yellow for jumping in the air? Studs up and catching guy full on in the shin with a potential leg breaker... And he's a yellow

and we wonder why people are always on referees backs, just no logical common sense thinking!

fixed <ok>

They do rely on him so much. I get the feelng he won't be with them much longer, seems destined for Barca or Real.

Best player in the PL atm

He will be off soon. Surely he cant like having to bail them out all the time?

Tbh almost any player in that position does the same thing. Thats the sad reality.

They have been given though.

You're confusing every player with Ashley Young... Was a young special sticking his leg as far away as possibly in the hope of catching the defender

We were better than Chelsea only last season, Utd weren't and aren't this season either.

When a Liverpool supporter comes out with a statement like this i have trouble taking it seriously. We know our players and accept their faults but you all seem to think you have a team of saints <doh>

But cheslea had the best attacking moves in the game<whistle>

Chelsea should have did what United did at Wembley v barca.. play nice loser football <laugh>

He's bang on about Hazard carrying the load

The Goal, apart from that nothing
