Hes being factual. Until its over he will still have some belief that it's quite over.

that's not the question, is vG thinking that United are in with any sort of title chance being realistic?

 

Its just empty words from an old man, either he actually believes Utd can overhaul Chelsea or he doesn't, he actually does so that makes him deluded.

He doesn't know what its like or takes to see his team top of the English Premier League, so its just wishful thinking on his part.

Van Gaal is a coward too scared to say anything one way or another

First he said Man Utd are the best team in the league, then they lost and he said he was only repeating what the press said to him, then they won again and he implies they're in a title race, then he loses and he'd rather focus on pedantic points than have an honest conversation about Man Utd's true level. Or admit his season is based entirely on Moyes' signings.

Moyes is the only honest manager Man Utd have had, and the fans hated him for it #theunitedway
