I'm very happy with Louis van

    Haal

    <laugh>

Still not many on Not606 would put themselves out there like Matth, so there's that I guess.

"To be honest I'm a bit surprised by this, but not really"

"Ironically, had Klopp waited to leave last season he would've been Man Utd manager"

    WTF?

And had Rodgers accepted Van Gaal as our DOF Moyes would still be manager at OT.<laugh>

There are so many flaws with this. But the most obvious is that City have imo approached him hence why he's made this announcement. Obv no club (including United) approached him a year ago so why would he have resigned!

Yes, in retrospect, two brains would have been better than one. United would not have had van Gaal and we would have had him helping Rodgers out. The club should have insisted on employing van Gaal and if Rodgers had decided to go, then we would have had an instant replacement

The club won`t even insist he has a defensive coach, as long as it saves them money they are happy.

City are the obvious suitors for Klopp. A team crying out for a manger to stamp his identity and philosophy on them after the directionless, anonymous stuff they've been playing under wrinkles.

FSG would be stupid not to be at least thinking about it as well and doing a pros / cons assessment against Rodgers on their whiteboard.

    This.

I have lost faith in Rodgers getting us the title. He came very close but I doubt he'll get the same opportunity again.

Klopp is a better tactitician and clearly a better judge of a player. His players at Dortmund were top class but he lost them to Bayern one by one.

If we do not get CL we should go all out to get him. Granted it won't be easy as he may want a CL team but Liverpool has got the name and the reputation and he may view it as a great challenge to bring us the premiership title competing against other big clubs.

City os a Managerial wasteland. Just cant see him stooping so low.

Not one City manager has progressed since City. No idea where Mancini is or Eriksson. Hughes is at Stoke and Pearce ia am idiot in charge of the u21 national team.

Pellegrini wont be doing anything special either.

Klopp would be stupid to go there.

Yep, stupd to go to a club with a talented spine of a team and money to spend. Really silly. His transfer budget will only be 3 times what he had at Dortmund.

Your spite for City is not colouring your comments at all<doh>

This is a similar rant to the rant abut Guardiola being "not so good at management" and "being found out at Bayern" .

    Inter Milan

Klopp is a shoo in for City, the only thing that might alter that is Wenger deciding that his availability makes it the right moment for him to move upstairs.

Can't really see that, don't think Ancelotti is done there yet so not the right moment.

You'd think that but if Real don't win La Liga and the CL, they are prone to changing things.

They've sacked managers for less failure
