  • Premier League

  • Champions League

  • FA Cup

  • League Cup

  • As much as Everton and Spurs!

This is a bit ridiculous. There's now two rival threads, as for the purpose of both threads I no longer have any clue

Why this one was changed in the first place is beyond me and is the source of the problem. It should go back to being 'Rival Watch' and stay so.

Now Astro has put up another thread in response to whoever changed this one because they're trying to engineer it into a pure wumming thread

FFS all I want to do is ask what PL matches, if any, folk are watching today and talk a bit about them

Someone sort it out like. It's a fecking mess currently

<grr>

Yep the number of pointless threads about the same thing... it's almost autistic. What's the reason for this one? Ah yes, I don't want anyone answering back <laugh> [HASHTAG]#astromatth[/HASHTAG] <whistle>

It's quite simple really. We used to have a rival thread (the one that's recently and annoyingly become banter too) where we were able to discuss games that Liverpool weren't involved in without any of the usual BS we see in every other thread on the board.

And yes, I realise that Astro is party of the reason for that change.

I changed it. Reason being, I tried to keep it as a rival thread but it pretty much fell on deaf ears and the so-called banter continued regardlessly. This as been the case for a few weeks if not months now so I didn't see the point in fighting the masses and have given it the name it deserves.

So, do I agree with that? Simple put, no! Any suggestions on how to implement the original purpose are welcome but don't expect mods to sit add moderate every comment!

I need a place to post my [HASHTAG]#legit[/HASHTAG] graphs and analysis without rival WUMs coming over and talking complete nonsense like Man Utd aren't a [HASHTAG]#longball[/HASHTAG] team or Balotelli scoring a penalty was worse than Mirallas' betrayal of relegation-fighting Everton <ok>

Robin van Persie returns to give Manchester United attacking quandary

http://www.theguardian.com/football...rsie-manchester-united-swansea-louis-van-gaal

"Van Gaal will have to decide whether to hand him a start at the expense of Wayne Rooney or Radamel Falcao – or drop his captain into midfield."

What quandry? Falcao is ****. Van Gaal [HASHTAG]#luckedout[/HASHTAG]

Falcao dropped. Such a hard decision [HASHTAG]#tacticalgenius[/HASHTAG]

The commentator said Fellaini had been booked for going through the back of yet another Swansea player, but it looks like the ref only gave him his 3rd final warning <doh>

Jake Pincombe: Two of the clearest penalties you'll see not given for Chelsea. Could 'the campaign' be real?

Sir Shomes: That's two pens this have we should have had! The campaign against us continues!

<laugh>

We've enetered the 'just hoof it to Fellaini' stage earlier than usual
