Ronaldo won't come back to the PL

He is obsessed with his statistics and in the PL he would score far fewer goals since we have more that 2 teams capable of putting up a fight

don't the mancs realise that ronaldo is using them (for the tihird time) to get his way at real?

the press will now may up 450 stories between now and next august 31st or whenever the summer window loses raning from utd to sign to utd rejected to utd won't pay 80mil for a 30 year old.

About 17 top players have renegotiated improved deals for themselves over the last 3 windows by threatening to go to Man Utd. Not a single ****er did <laugh>

Ronaldo did that not so long ago... I'm sure he just wants a different player or soemthing.

Real basically trashed any signing of suarez preworld cup for ronaldo favoring benzema............. as benzema would beplaying for ronaldo.. not suarez playing for real Madrid.

Whereas Liverpool actually went through with it and signed Balotelli!

pointless reply.

Astro has just said all the top players basically used links with your ****ty club to get better deals elsewhere and by extension the crap you did get were rejects from elsewhere.....

Could have been worse, we could have spent £100million on Balotelli, Lallana, Markovic, Lambert, Lovren, Moreno etc!

An average of £16.7m and a success rate (as it appears right now) of at least 50%...? Yep, shocking <doh>

We could of course throw in the sale of Suarez making the net spend quite low but for the sake of your argument we won't bother <ok>

I think net spend as an argument was eradicated after Ronaldo was sold to Real Madrid!

You'd have been better off signing a couple of top class players instead of a bunch of average players. Your squad is arguably stronger (and even that's not a given) but the first team is much weaker than last season.

It is worse. You spent £213m on Mata, Fellaini, Varela, Blind, Di Maria, Shaw, Rojo, Herrera

Net spends been eradicated as it? Not sure how that's physically possible but well done <applause> <laugh>

You do realise we've not actually seen the first team play yet right?

I agree about buying quality over quantity though. I'd have preferred to see the £40m spent on Balotelli, Markovic and Lambert go on quality signing. Maybe that player just wasn't available?

Net spend was unofficially eradicated when Ronaldo was sold as it basically ****ed up any argument that United "bought" titles.

What is your first team? Rodgers bought a number of players who are no better, and some possibly worse, than what he already had left in his squad. Does he know his first team?

Can't recall claiming C.Ronaldo's sale did any such thing but if you say so then it must be true <ok>

No idea what Brod considers to be our first team but I do know that Sturridge and Mario will be part of it and they've only played together once. In fact, that game was a 3-0 win over Spurs at WHL and probably as close to a first eleven as we've seen. Sakho and Allen being the only two question marks since Skrtel and Lallana were both injured at the time. I guess time will tell what Brod considers the best line-up.
