I can easily see Barnsley potentially catching us, although I can't see Reading, Derby or Peterborough doing so, I suspect 4 or 5 points will be enough this season, don't forget 2 out of those 3 teams have suffered points deductions which lowers the bar for survival.

Can’t see them catching us now, would need 14 more points than us in 9 games given goal difference.

I think we need 4 draws to be safe.
Plan of action should be 4 4 2 .
Smith and Eaves up front.
Every time our back 5 get the ball hoof it down field straight away for our 2 chasers.
No more partying about at the back where a mistake can and will loose us the game.
Not pretty but it should ensure survival.

We’ll be fine playing 352

I’m expecting to get shot down here but that’s not a good enough buffer. We need to be battling for every point. No let up. You are only safe when you can do the maths.

Copied from other thread ......
Derby and Peterborough aren't going to catch us.
It would take BOTH Reading and Barnsley to get 3 and 4 wins (respectively) more than we do out of their last 7 games. One of them just might, but even that is highly unlikely. No chance that BOTH will manage it. It just isn't going to happen.

Birmingham picked up 3 valuable points today against Steve Bruce's play-off chasing West Brom side.
Brum now on 45pts and well clear of the relegation scrap, whereas West Brom are 8 pts off the last play-off place.

Bruce is finished in the game.
