I think a lot hinges on Barnsley's next two games, both away. If they lose both, or just fail to win either, I think they'll be done, with just 15 pts left to play for and a minimum of 10pts behind (and a worse GD). For us, I think the real chance of pts comes in the games v Cardiff, Reading and Bristol. A draw in each would require Barnsley going nuclear to survive.
Indeed, Wembley winners, Premier League participants, FA Cup finalists, League Cup semi finalists, that's Hull City. Safety? We'll **** it.
So we just need to better Barnsley's result once, or match them twice, to confirm mathematical safety. Even counting for points deductions helping us out, its some achievement to stay up so comfortably with this squad
Barnsley aren't even taking any notice of us, their aim is to get past Reading and most have given up on that.
Swansea on heck of a run atm. Win their game in hand (or do they not count ) and then only 5 off the play offs with 5 to go. Sheff U need the win too. Not that we're in danger now anyway. Just be nice to get it mathematically sorted.
