One of the great composers and music producers from the 60's and 70's Brian Wilson has died at the age of 82.
He was the inspiration for the complex sounds from the Beach Boys. Drugs and alcohol stopped him performing with the group, and over the past few years he slipped into an alternative world as the dementia took hold. May he finally rest in peace.

Very lucky to see him a few years back in the UK. A mighty talent. Sadly disturbed by drug induced mental illness.

Diego Jota and his brother Andre Silva...
All round good guys and trying to do the right thing! Jota leaves his childhood sweetheart wife and three children.
Not sure if it was here or not, but that girl dancing on the Lambo showed how fragile those cars are...

Spain has a bad reputation for road deaths.

Was the speed limit pushed over the boundaries? That is what I was asking.

I get they have bad roads, but if you are driving a top car (and I presume he was) then you usually push the limits. I am sad about his death, but is this just another bad driver, but this time famous? Others here just get flowers put down at the site of speeding.

I could be wrong but doesn't sit right with me this, despite the tragedy.

No knows fully yet but a tyre burst after they over took another car .

Many clubs and players have paid their respects to Jota and his brother.

I think that says it all .

A very popular talented player .

Blow out when overtaking. Lambo's are notoriously fragile. When I'm back in Blighty I will try and find that video of a girl dancing on a Lambo. Bonnet dented, windscreen smashed, roof buckled... I doubt she was 6 stone wet in the shower.

If he had been driving Spanish Seat car, he would not have been overtaking.and if it had of crashed it would not have exploded like a bomb

James Dean.had a similar disaster when he was killed in a Porsche, the experts at the time all said if he had been driving a British or American car he might have survived as the Porsche just fell to pieces
