Actor Dennis Waterman, known for his roles in TV shows including Minder, The Sweeney and New Tricks, has died, his family have said. He was 74.
A statement said: "We are deeply saddened to announce that our beloved Dennis passed away very peacefully in hospital in Spain."
He died on Sunday afternoon with wife Pam at his side, they said.

Greek composer Vangelis, who was known for his celebrated film themes for Chariots of Fire and Blade Runner, has died at the age of 79.
The musician first tasted fame as the keyboardist in a band with singer Demis Roussos in the late 1960s.
Vangelis went on to be a groundbreaking electronic solo artist, as well as the composer of popular film soundtracks.
He won an Oscar for the stirring theme to 1981's Chariots of Fire, which was followed by Blade Runner a year later.
His other film credits included The Bounty, Francesco, Bitter Moon, 1492: Conquest of Paradise and Alexander.

Former Norwich City and Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Neil O'Donnell has died, aged 72, the clubs have announced.
Glasgow-born O'Donnell began his career with the Canaries in 1967 and was in the team which won the 1971-72 Second Division title.
He played for the Owls in the mid-1970s and retired due to injury at 27.
Not a player I know a lot about, but all City players are remembered.

"Sadly we can confirm that Lester died peacefully in Switzerland this morning," said his son-in-law and Derby-winning trainer William Haggas.
Piggott was admitted to hospital in Switzerland, where he lived, last week.
His first winner came aged 12 at Haydock in 1948, and his last at the same track in 1994. He retired for a final time in 1995.
