RIP George Michael. I grew up with Wham and, to the amusement of many, liked his work.
So sorry to hear that this was his "Last Christmas".

It's only going to get worse, unfortunately the stars people grew up with are reaching an age where the decades of abusing their body is catching up to them.
Its sad but we're going to lose plenty next year too.
RIP George, never a fan of your music but your appearance in extras was superb!
I was wondering if it was just an age thing. He was only two years older than me.
It's absolutely no age to go that's for sure. It makes you grateful for every day when you hear of someone taken that young.
Tremendously sad news. An amazing versatile musician and a troubled soul in later life.

I'd add incredibly talented song writer too.
