A real character and will be sadly missed, RIP Nobby
I was really lucky to have met the England squad who were training at Wrexham's ground in preparation to play Wales in the home championship in the late 60's. I would be about 10 and was in awe of some of the players, Geoff Hurst, Bobby Charlton and Alan Mullary were total tossers, but I always remember that Sir Alf, Gordon Banks, Colin Bell and Nobby Styles were really nice, taking time to talk to me and my dad.I've no idea what he was really like and never met him but he came across as a really decent bloke.
Rest in Peace Nobby, there'll never be another.
RIP Nobby, none of us is immortal.
Yes and no front teethDancing around Wembley with the WC, socks down around his ankles. Never to be forgotten scenes.
R.I.P Nobby Styles.
