Tragic news coming from Wembley, Cardiff fan Mikey Dye was beaten to death near the stadium, not confirmed right no weather it was by an English fan or a fight between Welsh fans, either way violence should never be a part of the beautiful game that we love and support.

RIP Mikey Dye from a Swans fan

A fight between Swansea and Cardiff fans apparently. Embarrassing our country.

Absolute waste of life.
We all go to enjoy the game no matter what side we follow.
Whoever has done this has no place in our society.
At this time football fades into insignificance.

My feelings are with his family.

it's been said that it is welsh fans that have done this to a fellow supporter. It's disgusting to see that people can do this over football matters. no matter where your from or who you support, it's not right. RIP Mikey.

This is exactly the sort of thing that puts football and life into perspective. Another life lost in an act of shameful, mindless and ignorant violence.

Whether they were English fans, Welsh fans or specifically Swans fans I hope they get what they deserve.

RIP Mike Dye from Swansea City. Thoughts and prayers with your family.

Just posted my thoughts on Dilligaf's thread on this tragic news. Breaking news on talkSport said there was unconfirmed reports that the 6 people held in custody are all Welsh. Absolutely sickening....

RIP Mike Dye.

Stoke fan here.. Another Stokie posted this on our board...

A Sad day for every fan, whoever you support. Sincere condolences to his family, friends and fellow supporters.

From all of US at Stoke City.. R.I.P. Mike <peacedove>

R.I.P. Mike Shocking news that has no place in football but to think it could have been our own fans doing this to each other just makes it all the more senseless. My thoughts go out to those that have been left behind.

My thoughts are with his family and friends at this time of their sad loss.

RIP
