One of those who transcended the sport he was commentating on. Even people with no interest in motor racing knew who he was. " And the car he is driving is absolutely unique. As is the one behind which is identical." Legend.
So sad. And beautifully put Ron. Jesus said "Suffer the little children to come unto me. For theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven,"

Really sorry to hear of the passing of Murray Walker, a wonderful commentator and enthusiast of Motorsport. I have been to many Grandprix over the years, so am a big fan and always enjoyed listening to his commentaries when watching on TV. One of my lasting memories of him was interviewing Nigel Mansell, who had a bump on his head.
Sabine Schmitz 51, after a long battle against cancer.. Could that lady drive! Used to enjoy seeing male presenters thinking they had done a brilliant lap and then watching her destr9y their times. The original Top Gear team were in awe of her.
Sabine Scmitz in my favourite episode of Top Gear. Seeing Porsches and motorbikes driven by people thinking they are budding racing drivers being overtaken by a lady driving a Ford Transit diesel was priceless.
I doubt most on here will have heard of him but RIP Dick Hoyt, an inspiration to me as a father and an athlete. Completed 32 Boston marathons and 6 Ironmans with his son who has cerebal palsy and said when they were running it felt like he wasn't disabled. https://www.runnersworld.com/runners-stories/a35866273/dick-hoyt-legendary-boston-runner-dies-80/
