Stupid Cupid... Dad was a trawlerman and when he came home, after he settled, he would bring in 3 or 4 45's... we would sing along .. my 4 sisters had this song down pat.... RIP.

It's so strange how things can work out. I was only flicking through an old football magazine yesterday afternoon and saw a photo of Wyn Davies in his Newcastle Utd kit...Then commented to a friend about him. I said there was no better header of a football than this guy.
RIP Wyn Davies.

Heavy metal star Ozzy Osbourne has died, just weeks after reuniting with his Black Sabbath bandmates and performing a huge farewell concert for fans.

In a statement, his family said: "It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love."

RIP Joey Jones
I met his father, an ambulance man, when he came to Hull to bring my dad home after he had had a heart attack while in North Wales. In about 1982. Nice man was Mr Jones senior. We chatted football for a while over a cup of tea, but he hardly mentioned LFC.

RIP Ozzy
I saw him in his pomp with Black Sabbath at City Hall back in the day. Some great memories. A true showman of his time.
