Really sad news. A true showbiz legend. Only 72, thought she was older than that.
 
Her rendition of "What's it all about Alfie" was definitive, Bacharach's favourite of his own songs.

Whatever she did after that doesn't matter as far as I'm concerned.

RIP. Loved how she was so in love with her husband for 30 years until his death.

I think that was the beginning of the end for her. It left her broken hearted and she was never the same again. Poor Cilla, she was a good person and looked upon by many as a national treasure. Can't say I was a fan personally but she was harmless enough and to claim that she had no talent is harsh. As GC mentioned above, I doubt that Burt Bacarach would've gone near her if she had no talent. As Sir Bruce said, 'she had the common touch, was loved and will be missed by millions.'
