if you ignore all the hype and stuff, they were a pretty decent pop band and produced some good stuff.
Obviously not to everyone's taste, but they were a good pop band in their day. Got well and truly shafted with their earnings and should have being multi millionaires but never got paid a penny in 25 years.

The first time I saw, or heard, Meatloaf was in that gig when it was performed on TV, it completely blew me away.
