I played in the same Swansea schoolboys under 15 side as Dudley could see at that age he was a player also in the team is another Swansea player who passed away in Chris Marustik. We win the welsh schools cup that year beating Newport in the final, having beaten Kirkby in the semi final with another famous player who has now sadly passed away in Tommy Caron, he kicked me all over the place but not enough to stop us winning. We lost in the quarters of the English to Waltham Forrest having beaten Southampton at the dell.
These guys have sadly all gone to soon

Former England, Northamptonshire, Durham and Bedfordshire batsman Wayne Larkins has died at the age of 71.

Larkins played 13 Tests and 25 ODIs including being part of the 1979 World Cup runners up squad.

The internationally renowned Welsh opera singer Stuart Burrows has died aged 92 following a short illness.

Born in Cilfynydd in Rhondda Cynon Taf, he performed for the first time with the Welsh National Opera in 1963 and went on to sing at world famous La Scala in Milan.

Former Wales forward Ronald 'Wyn' Davies has died aged 83.

Born in Caernarfon in 1942, Davies enjoyed an outstanding career in the 1960s and 70s playing for teams including Wrexham, Bolton Wanderers, Newcastle United and both Manchester clubs City and United.

Nicknamed 'Wyn the Leap' because of his heading ability, the 6ft 1in forward represented Wales 34 times, scoring six goals, while he is still revered at Newcastle where he was also known as 'The Mighty Wyn'.

A Football Association of Wales statement read: "The thoughts of everyone at the FAW are with the family and friends of Wyn Davies during this difficult time."

I can remember watching Wales play (on TV) a Home International Championship match (at Wrexham?) with Wyn, Ron Davies and Tosh all playing up-front <cheers>
