It seems over the last few weeks there have been a few people getting on derek's back, so i want to see how many of us still want him in charge
I still want McInnes
do you ?

Sorry but I'm not convinced with Del what so ever.
Excuses, excuses why we are in the mess we find ourselves in......Sorry, he's had the time to sort it......But a lot of his decisions IMO have not improved from Millens.
If we get relegated, will he be the man to bring us back up? My answer to that is, No, in fact I would go as far as to say, we will struggle in league 1 with the set-up we have.
Loads of you are saying, he will bring in his own players etc......of what I've seen so far, I'm not excited what so ever.
Down to the board for me......AGAIN, not the right appointment.
the players he has brought in
Pearson - nobody can fault him
Wood - why wouldn't we of signed him if given the opportunity to
Foster - Utility man, very impressed so far
McManus - we have ALL said he has been the best CB at this club for a long time
as for the rest they've not been here long enough but im sure they will prove there worth when we stay up ALWAYS BELIEVE
Relegation, whilst not exactly appealing right now, may be the kick up the rear that is needed. Just look at Soton & Norwich - it allowed them to focus on the core of the club and move forward.
I think McInnes is a young hungry manager and will turn out to be a good choice for us. We are not a "sexy" club and cannot expect to attract big name players or management staff. We need to take a page from Swansea's book and build from within. Get a core group of young players and then add a few choice signings.

Obviously I hope we avoid the drop but right now I simply cannot see us getting ahead of Coventry who have suddenly woken up and are playing for their lives.
I believe in McInnes. I believe in Lansdown. I believe that Sexstone is a complete waste of space.
As onefor says, Norwich and Soton have much bigger fan bases than us so you can't compare.
Sheff Wed weren't looking like coming back up - until they got in a new manager.
They are a huge club compared to us - and their neighbours are bigger too.
I don't have any confidence that we have the setup or momentum to come straight back up.
I can't make up my mind about Del yet - there are too many unknowns still.
- Has he been backed with who he wants to bring in - or have his signings been a compromise
with what the board are prepared to finance?
- Is his failure to make an impact down to the quality of players or his inability to
motivate them and play them in a formation that suits them (I don't know)
- Look at Soton. It has taken Adkins 18 months to get them from the bottom half
of L1 to the brink of the Premier. And he hasn't spent a fortune. Were his palyers that
good all along or is it down to his astute management??
I wouldn't want to change McInnes at the end of the season UNLESS we have someone
lined up with a good pedigree who will clearly know what he is doing (and who wants the job).
Too many gambles have been taken and not paid off in the last few years. Lets play it safe
for a change and lower the odds of success!
