We are left with the devil and the deep blue sea, matters could have been so much better !

SSN interview with Robert Sarver, 12/01/2015 :

Skysports - Robert Sarver explains why he withdrew his interest in Rangers

Robert Sarver has the correct attitude, recognising that it is the Fans that own the Club, the 'Owner' being just the custodian.

The debate atm is what major shareholder(s) prevented the offer from reaching 75%.
Any shareholder or combination of shareholders with shareholdings totalling more than 25% could block the offer.

These are the figures, from 09/01/2015, as at 12/01/2015.
From the Investor website, Rangers' main shareholders as at 09/01/2015 :

Rangers has an issued share capital of 81,478,201 ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares").

Major Shareholding (3% or above):

The Company understands that its major shareholders are as follows:
Shareholder No of Ordinary Shares held % of issued share capital
New Oasis Investments Limited ........... 11,869,505 .: 14.57% = Dave King
Artemis Investment Management LLP ........ 8,109,223 ..: 9.95%
George Alexander Taylor .................. 7,575,000 ..: 9.30% = 3 Bears
Mash Holdings Limited .................... 7,265,000 ..: 8.92% = Mike Ashley
Douglas Park ............................. 5,000,000 ..: 6.14% = 3 Bears
River and Mercantile Asset Management LLP. 4,704,827 ..: 5.77%
Blue Pitch Holding ....................... 4,426,485 ..: 5.43% = named Easedale proxy
Alexander Easdale* ....................... 4,242,110 ..: 5.21%
Miton Group .............................. 4,060,282 ..: 4.98%
George Letham ............................ 3,299,515 ..: 4.05% = 3 Bears

Sarver was an unknown quantity and his motivation for getting involved at Ibrox is unclear. He may have been the white knight that Larry seems to think, or he may have been another Whyte. In any case, no shareholder in his right mind was going to accept a bid of 20p for shares that are trading at 25p on the open market.

T3B and King, on the other hand, are known quantities. They're people who have invested in Rangers in the past and are not looking to asset strip the club and squeeze all they can out of loyal fans. Sadly, it appears that an element of our support can't see past Toxic Jack's spin.

Sarver seems like the only legit guy and they knocking him back <rofl>

Couldnt make it up

That club is corrupt to the core, Dave King is a crook and they want him and the tragically named three bears ahead of degree in business administration Sarver.

American banker Robert Sarver has pulled out of takeover talks with Rangers after his second offer for the club was rejected.

The 53-year-old had offered £20m for a majority stake in the Championship club.

Dave King and the free pears couldnt get 20m together to save themselves never mind rangers.

Shows how corrupt and ****ed they truly are, no end of this till the doors close.

When Sarver made his original offer in December the share price was lower than the 18p he offered. The share price went up because of his offer and then the board claimed he had under valued the club.

When this board takes the club into administration the shares will be worth **** all.

Dave King put £20 million into Rangers.

Mike Ashley, through his minions, blocked more money being invested in Rangers and tightened in his grip on the club by providing loans which the club have no way to pay back.

Just to reiterate, because Larry can't seem to grasp this, Mike Ashley has put **** all into Rangers himself. Further, he has blocked other people putting money into Rangers.

If people think Mike Ashley is the answer to Rangers problems I really do despair.

Chuck Green. <laugh>

Read a bit of his interview when I was at the barber getting my hair cut this morning.

In pretty much the same breath he's saying Rangers are going backwards but the Mike Ashley and the board are the right people for the job.

He's a ravin ****in walloper.

"The Board has sought for some time to establish a long term funding solution for the Company in order to create a platform of stability to build for the future. This Facility begins this process and we very much hope that it will be augmented with further permanent capital in due course." - David Somers

Hopefully 'further permanent capital in due course' means Robert Sarver.

I have followed your plight for some time........being it began to come to the fore around our similar demise...........Ashley is no good to you, he sounds and acts just like the leeches that bled us dry........your best way forward is to boycott your games, let the club go to admin and have a fans group by it back at 10p in the pound, then you can run it your selfs, rangers is a once strong club with a massive fan base, we went down for near 120m but we now own our club.......struggling but own it, where ever we play :-)

I doubt they'll take Sarvers money. Legitimate money and business men coming into the club would ruin it for the incumbent crooks.
