the point of murray... well not much. but when roland pulls the plug after asset stripping us, murray's 10% makes him majority shareholder.

god knows why he wants to stay involved. i can understand wanting something back after putting in so much money, but he aint gonna get it. we probably wont reach the prem in his lifetime. why dont he just cut his losses and enjoy retirement?

Murray cut a very, very sad figure at the press conference. A once mighty Premier League chairman who used to boast that club's asked him 'how to do things the 'Charlton way'....now little more than a sorry stooge hanging around to get his dough back.

The man who is supposed to be the club's 'link with the supporters' is still doing OK.

Last month he bought 113,000 shares of Avesco Group Plc stock at £120.36 per share.

Weren't we told that the poor chap was skint?

Maybe he plans to come back with the tidings and save CAFC ? ? Sorry.....

I can't stand the man, but in fairness he never claimed to be skint. What he said was that he had a responsibility to his children and their inheritance not to waste any more money on Charlton. I think the bloke has got an absolute brass neck hanging around. I long to see him in the car park while I m eating my pre match chips, it will happen one day and I will tell him very bluntly what I think of him.

That's a huge chunk of money to pay into the club that you have no control over?

Makes you wonder why

I think that's 120.36 pence per share not £'s. He is the Chairman of Avesco Group plc and now owns 29.99% of the company.

Offer him a chip, just to make a comparison which is the greasier of the two.

One thing that has made my blood boil in the last 24 hours -

Around 80 fans gathered to protest outside the West Stand after yesterday's debacle. I take my hat off to each and every one of them. A couple reported that when Richard 'the fans representative on the Board' Murray left, they tried to approach him to talk to him. They said that Murray 'brushed them off' and walked away.

To my mind Murray is the No.1 culprit for this mess, responsible for a catalogue of bad decisions going back to the day Curbs left.

Murray is an arrogant phoney, it's time we started calling him out.

Murray was appointed to the Board for 2 reasons -

To act as Meire's human shield during her comi- tragic dealings with 'customers'

To remind everyone he still wants his bunce back.

The guy is a phoney.
