In racing, I believe it's called a 'talking horse'. 5% of them are as good as the reputation suggests, 95% of them disappoint.
I have the feeling Rhodes is the genuine article, but no way could (or should) we pay 8 m and 40K a week.
Not sure he's done the best thing for his own career, either. Unless the club pushed (which I doubt) he might have been better staying at Huddersfield, building his reputation further, and then going to a Prem club. What will he do if Blackburn implode again due to internal conflicts and don't go up?
