£8m for someone who has played no championship footbal. Madness. Mind you England started their last game with a keeper who had only played league 2 so stranger things have happened. Rhodes could prove to be a genius signing but he could also be a Connor Wickham.

mark rivers once scored 4 in his first 4 games in the championship. means nothing, though as i keep stating, rhodes will probably score goals for blackburn too, its just his fee is way too high
Rhodes is on a reported 40k a week now! Surely people can understand why we were never interested in him!
In racing, I believe it's called a 'talking horse'. 5% of them are as good as the reputation suggests, 95% of them disappoint.
I have the feeling Rhodes is the genuine article, but no way could (or should) we pay 8 m and 40K a week.
Not sure he's done the best thing for his own career, either. Unless the club pushed (which I doubt) he might have been better staying at Huddersfield, building his reputation further, and then going to a Prem club. What will he do if Blackburn implode again due to internal conflicts and don't go up?

i think we all know why he's gone to blackburn...
£40k a week for someone who has never even come close to playing in the premier league and has one international cap for a country who he isn't even from because he isn't good enough to get in his own country's squad.
