I'd have been confident of knocking them over tomorrow morning had we taken Hadin at the end, but he can stick around and score quickly and Clarke is on fire..
Keeping them under 400 won't matter a jot if we bat like a bunch fannies in our first innings!

Obviously not, but this lack of batting form can't go on forever...................

....................can it? <yikes>

Yes it can <doh>

What a dismal performance. Without any pride, fight or guts.

Would be no surprise if we fall to a five nil here.
That bell end with a tache having a Devon Malcolm moment and they're all ****ting themselves.

Being 398 ahead after the first innings, we didn't the Aussies make us bat again?

Carry on though?
Carry on up the outback.

Anyway, they don't need to. What they will do is go you score freely while England toil in the field then bowl us out for about 120 second innings inflicting the final psychological dagger to the heart.

Then they'll win the series five nowt.

Said a couple of pages back they wouldn't.

The pitch was ready 2 days before they started so it's already a day 5 pitch. Come day 5 the pitch will be horrible to bat on and Australia don't want to risk having a tricky task of potentially getting 150 on a pitch that is turning at right angles and has uneven bounce.

Bat quickly get a lead of 450/500 then bowl us out again

Ashes gone in the space of a test and a half <doh> Glad I went to bed when I did ffs

Wish I had. 4.30 in the end. Was like watching a car-crash. We are SCARED of a semi-chucker in the style of Malinga. We knocked him out of the series last time down under - have we not practised in the nets against the bowling machine? It's not even their quickest wicket!

5-0 for sure.

Made it to 3:30. Couldn't bare watching Monty try and keep them out <laugh>

The pitches in Australia are quicker than they are in Australia so he's far more dangerous there than he was over here. He doesn't move it though and provides so many scoring chances you just need to leave 90% of his balls alone, defend the 5% he does get someone close and then take advantage when he gives you a ncie wide one or one on your legs. Unfortunately apart from Bell none of our other batsmen are in any kind of form.
