why bother to labour in the heat for 50 overs?

Australia currently 125-7 against Afghanistan chasing 292 to win. They should be 118-8 but the Afghan fielder dropped a simple catch to remove Maxwell. Even I could have caught it.

Could realy come back to haunt them. Maxwell is one player that could go win this for Australia as well. If he’s hung onto that Afghanistan would have cruised to the win and put themselves in poll position for a semi final spot
 
Maxwell is now 84 off 67. I feel like by dropping that simple catch Afghanistan have lost the game. Their catching % at the World Cup is only around 67% whereas the top teams are at 85%

they just mean to put up a massive total and see the nz heads drop and get skuttled.

nz know they are there cos they just had enough early to hang on despite injuries etc. they haven't really a hope.
