Crawley pushed on a bit this morning then got out. Did so much good work yesterday and undone it today, although at least he used up lots of balls to let the ball soften a bit.

Good partnership between stokes and foakes.
New ball available soon though.
lead of 128 with 5 wickets in hand. Should be able to get up toward 200 here and put us in really strong position.

They've done well to dig in there. It's a better lead already than would have credited so really anything is a bonus from here.
Having the best of the evening session conditions for a bowl would be nice though.

Nah. Try bat them out the game. Bat all day, get lead up towards 250 and push on tomorrow to try get 300/350 lead.
with this england team, can never have a too big a lead!
Have to give sa bowlers credit though, new ball coming will mean a big challenge is coming.
Broad has done his job. They've not sent Robinson out. 20 runs for broad is a massive bonus.

Very good innings that. Mainly built around stokes and foakes but some decent contributions from Crawley, Bairstow and then broad and Robinson down the order.
