Just as the test team start performing out white ball team forget how to bat <doh>

Indian bowlers moving the ball all over the place. Roy with 4 from 16 before getting out…

butler golden duck on his captaincy debut.

England batting failing again. Roy with another horrible performance. 17 from 18…

england at it again.

51/3 ad full on attack.

pope and bairstow at the crease.

as per who knows what the **** this lot do. could be 70 all out of 300/9 by end of the day.

chances are though S.A. are after seeing the pitch right, putting england in to bat and are going to take them apart cos the players will swing away.

better than i hoped tbh.

the pitch might be poor and conditions conducive to jimmy swinging them to death.

they put us in and hoped to get us on the back foot. 169/170 is on the back foot for all out. but it sould be 200 which could be par for all i know yet.

Its farily cheap though if they can see off jimmy anderson and broad can do nothing cos frankly there not a lot of bowling in this side after that bar stokes thinking he can bang it in on boucers.

its 165. jimmy just wants a bowl.

<laugh>

1 batsman out of 7 delivered the minimum. the other 6 all failed imo.

the bolwers contributed 36 which nearly as much as those 6. Not quite but nearly.

SA are digging here.

The classic broad anderson bowling is on full on show... for the very short time it will be.

Ball doing plenty for both.

Ball hit pad not bat for broad here and SA use a review to survive.

17/0

in short they need to see off our two men and we need to get into them quick.

You need some luck or bad batting.

the ball has moved miles and beaten the edge here.

on the other hand batting like broad or leech with respect to them is just swinging randomly.

Leech ball was hitting pad but actually swung back to bat area and hit top of stumps. He was swinging miles outside the line so the ball went between bat and pad swinging out and sill hit stumps. Rank batting as his lines are all wrong and hes actually swinging outside off stump.

we need to get them rolling as frankly one the old man is a bit tired after 8 to 10 overs we are done for 6 overs done so far means he's got about 4-6 more after lunch MAX and that's it.
