Off for light and that's that for the day................................Aussies lead by 34..............huge day tomorrow

As always, need to get smith out. Haven’t worked out how to bowl to him yet to cause him issue

I would say Smith is probably the best batsman in the world atm, he got half of Aus 1st innings total, so 'working out' how to get such a batsman out is very difficult

Without Smith this Ashes series would be over pretty quickly.

Think our chance of the win went when 122-8 turned into 284 though the pitch is looking so slow that see off the new ball & knuckle down and you should be able to stay at the crease for a long time. The worry with the Eng batting is the "knuckle down" part.

Lead is 355.........3 wkts. remaining............England in the **** <whistle>

13 overs left today, England will be made to bat before close of play

Declaration for the Aussies (487/7)...England need 398 to win the test and have to face 6 or 7 overs before close of play

So England have a day batting or 400 to get.

Don’t think seeing out the overs will be an issue.

They only have the one spinner and if can keep him quiet.
