True that. However, it doesn't mean it can't be done. The test for someone like Unsworth would be player recruitment, and he'd need Walsh more than Koeman seemingly did.

He's a good egg is Unsie and I hope this works out for him, as I think he could be a real breath of fresh air for us, given what he's done with the youngsters.

What about Big Dunc?

I think in fairness 11th for martinez and now what bottom 3 form koeman were grounds to dismiss.

He needs to get it right this time. he seems to be aiming for top 6... so automatically was failing.
Every club needs to get it right every time though don't they. Moshiri went straight for Koeman, no ifs, buts or maybes, he obviously saw something he liked. Makes you wonder how experienced he is in spotting the right talent if he thought he'd got it the last time.

Also tobes has said it's a big paying job but so far that was only Koeman and I'm guessing it was the only thing that got him from Southampton. His greed was greater than his ambition. Is that the type of manager they want - offer huge salary because they know that's the only way they will attract a bigger name than the Dyche's and Howe's being talked about and wait for another sacking from someone who's heart isn't really in it?

No, as he's not made the job his own.

He's shown tactical naivety tonight with the formation change when we were doing well.

When he made that change I said to my son that is a mistake. I accept due to the score in the other game in the group Everton needed to win, but he made the change to early, should have carried on as they were for a bit longer.

Hope Martina is ok as they seemed to spend a lot of time with him.

Remember when Everton's biggest problem was Koeman having red decorations on his Christmas tree?

On the bright side at least Unsworth can concentrate on staying up, there squad is far to good to go down they just need to learn to play together. Might be a case of to many new players introduced at one time, whilst some are showing their age. Also Rooney is just to fat and past it.

If he can get a solidity to the backs with 2 sms then all he needs is a striker for sigurdsson to play to.

The problem he has is Rooney and also then... well those cbs are creaking

If he has the bottle to drop Williams for jagielka and Keane and get Schneiderlin and gueye parked in front then he can figure something to get the odd goal.

He desperately needs a striker...

The current situation is a blame game between Moshiri and Koeman.

Koeman for not addressing what was needed and Moshiri not having a replacement lined up so jim white could tell the world.

It’s looking grim
