you'd nver have got it just like we were not going to. I was afraid if you got one we would see you pass us but thats for 6th. The top 4 are far too strong for your midfield and defence.

The thing is.... keane might come good, pickford is good and theres a few others.
I agree, but some would have given us a chance.

Who will be in charge for the league cup midweek?

Is gueye suspended for league cup only?

Will the Leicester v everton game be the first ever match between two managerless teams? (I've no idea?)

I don't think everton are in a disaster zone here. Its only a few results form being as bad/good as liverpool so its early enough to just say the season starts here lads.
Unsworth

Yes

Maybe, good point.

I agree.

for got about unsworth. he's been your u23 manager for quite a while? 3/4 years?
We won the PL2 title last season under Unsworth, he's built a big reputation for himself behind the scenes at Goodison

I expect him to be made caretaker whilst they look to see who's available, but if he starts well, he could get the gig until the end of the season at least imo.

Premier League records of permanent Everton managers since 1990
Manager
Games Points per game Win %
Howard Kendall
(1990-93) 60 1.28 37%
Mike Walker (1994) 31 0.87 19%
Joe Royle (1994-97) 97 1.43 37%
Howard Kendall (1997-98) 38 1.05 24%
Walter Smith (1998-2002) 140 1.16 29%
David Moyes (2002-13) 427 1.5 41%
Roberto Martinez (2013-16) 113 1.44 38%
Ronald Koeman (2016-17) 47 1.47 40%

That was the previous season mate.

No Blue I know was expecting top 4 this season, had we landed a 20+ goal experienced PL striker that might have been different, but we didn't.
Ah my mistake.

As mito said the season's still young and you have the benefits of the new manager bounce to look forward to. <ok>

Question is will this be a long drawn out process or have talks already been had and finalised with their number one pick? There are 3 PL teams [possibly] without managers atm, will Everton look more attractive than the other two to a PL newbie?
