Exactly. For people to come up with expectations now is rather jumping the gun

With the Soton result it is also hard to judge. It was better than expected.
Was predicting 3-1, it was 2-1 with us down to 10 men.
It's an improvement on last time there, 4-0 during our promotion season.

Just need three quality additions to the squad.

The Beeb did report £1m, but in that interview he definitely said millions.

I think we should target a goalkeeper (Mannone) a midfielder (Butterfield) and a striker (Sharp) with that, we will definitley be challenging for a top 6 spot with eyes for top 5

No i did not say they were talentless and Yes they are punching above there weight and for how long they stay there is anyones guess. I saw nothing on tuesday to change my mind. But the table does not lie does it ? lets see who is where come 1st May 2012.

Who's this Butterfield lad? Any good?

He has been scouted by a few PL teams and when we were @ Barnsley there were PL managers in the stand. Moyes - Pullis - McCarthy - Coyle. Talking to some Barnsley fans they dont think he is good enough yet for the PL. On the night he was only ok. But does bag a few goals.

Nick Barmby knows Billy Sharp very well and a deal has been agreed is the rumour doing certain rounds. At least moving to Hull would not mean he has to uproot his family. You can forget Ipswich now. Ipswich look to have gone on strike and Bullard is back to his ways. Has not taken long for there fans to turn on Bullard either. But they were warned.
