ok, take it as disagreeing with your comment. i put your bizarre comments down to social segregation? it's not generally deemed acceptable to badly guess your kins habits and characteristics. you wouldnt say this at the valley, so why do it on here? make your comment and leave the personal stuff out - for some part, sometimes you are right.
Vol- I have to disagree with you and Typical but it would surprise you no end if I didnt. What amazes me is that despite hating CP and the current Charlton set up so much you still drag yourself down to the Valley
Nick, from memory you have never posted that you 'hate' Chris but you make no secret of your desire to see Chris gone and make it clear that you do not rate him as a Manager. Your posting style is very aggressive (which is fine) but if you play with fire you can expect some burns. I'm not sure that Scratching posted anything to apologise about? Inaccurate perhaps but not insulting
I have got no idea what you are talking about. What is your own personal tipping point where CP's tenure is concerned?
I have said many times that as a human being CP is a thoroughly admirable individual. I have attempted to use humour to point out his short comings as a manager. I object to be accused of hating someone, if he wants to withdraw it then that is fine.
From many years of Scratching posting on here, I know the word 'hate' was not meant to imply any racial slur.
This may be a sweeping judgement, but Guardian readers do tend to be sanctimonious twats. And, no, I will not apologise for that comment. And, no, I do not read the Mail. I read the Football League paper.
Does anybody actually read the Guardian? It's a bit like the Financial Times... people may buy it to carry around then just bin it unread.
a season with his hands not tied. he can then prove himself without hindrance, last time he had one of them he did ok
I read the Saturday Guardian. THis must make me slightly sanctimonious. SAnctimoniuous. What a splendid word. Pity it only applies in the 2nd and 3rd person, never the first!
My apologies oh booing sage of the upper north. I should have been more specific in you "hating the continuing role that CP is playing as our manager". The fact is there may have been 50 of you booing yesterday and had you stayed away or applauded an improved performance by the team it would have shown support. What you do by booing as make the players who do give a cuss feel as though they are not wanted as much as those you really don't want. Booing is not selective when you boo a team off the field.
Oh, by the way you dont buy the guardian to read, merely to spell check. You may think it somewhat surprising but i don't buy or spell check the Manchester guardian. I have a slight problem with newspapers in that they used to report fact, but nowadays they merely report opinion to reinforce the views of those who buy them. Even the FT has started to express opinion which I find mildly alarming. I am also certain that many find it difficult to identify fact from opinion. Fortunately I, like all the posters on here, do have an opinion of my own, unfortunately some believe their opinion to be fact and cannot countenance an opposite view. Vol, I disagree with you but I will defend your right to disagree with me.
